Each instructor will focus on a different artist whose work was influenced by math concepts while integrating the elements of art.

Five sessions will focus on a different Artist Students Should Know while discussing the art elements utilized: Leonardo da Vinci, M.C. Escher, George Hart, Piet Mondrian & Faith Ringgold

Being involved in the Art Docent Program at Sunnycrest is a truly rewarding experience. Volunteers provide art enrichment within the classroom, a creative outlet for students, and teach children to appreciate the artist within themselves!

Our goal is to have at least one volunteer for each class. If you do not wish to lead a lesson, we encourage you to be an assistant in the class. No experience is necessary! Materials and some training are provided. This is a great way to encourage appreciation for art and imagination!
