Places to get ideas...
Being involved in the Art Docent Program at Sunnycrest is a truly rewarding experience. Volunteers provide art enrichment within the classroom, a creative outlet for students, and teach children to appreciate the artist within themselves!
Our goal is to have at least one volunteer for each class. If you do not wish to lead a lesson, we encourage you to be an assistant in the class. No experience is necessary! Materials and some training are provided. This is a great way to encourage appreciation for art and imagination!

The grade levels given for these lessons are just suggestions. Usually any lesson can be easily adapted to meet the needs of a younger or older class.
